Pununurrara picnic grounds: this is a great place for a picnic. There are lots of shady trees and grassy areas. Near the entrance there is a kiosk which sells drinks and icecreams and the person running it has a pet parrot which sits on his shoulder just like in pirate stories. There is a pond at the bottom of the hill where the kids collect tadpoles and other creepy crawlies.
